About me.

Welcome!— I’m really glad you’re here.

I’m Rachael, and this is a place for vulnerability— a space where I share the real, messy, and meaningful parts of healing and growing.

I write from lived experience: surviving domestic violence, recovering from disordered eating, and healing from childhood complex trauma. My journey has been about learning to trust myself again, untangling old stories, and discovering that vulnerability is often where real healing begins.

This space isn’t about perfection or quick fixes. It’s about honesty, self-discovery, and the courage it takes to show up as we are. If you’ve ever felt unseen, overwhelmed, or alone in your struggles, I hope you find something here that reminds you you’re not alone.

I didn’t start this blog to tell anyone how to be fixed. I started it to share what it looks like to heal out loud, grow through the hard parts, and build a life that feels more whole.

Thanks for being here.
